Random thoughts.
1. I haven't had time to blog and I hate it. I've been struggling to keep 2 blogs updated and I'm not about to give up anytime soon.
2. I went to Elorde last night. I really like it there and I have no plans of going back to Red Corner anytime soon. I hear that Elorde is planning to open in Salcedo Village, Makati. But I think I would still prefer to box in Gilmore since it's just walking distance from my house and I like the trainers there.
3. Initially, I didn't like the idea of starting a blog called "Letters to Trina". The thought of him writing letters to me and posting it for all to see was kinda scary. What if he gets really mad and decides to diss me? Hahaha! But no, I trust him. I don't ever have to worry about him. :)
Since he has more time to spend updating his blog, I'm just going to link his entry since it involves me anyway. WARNING: if you are allergic to mush, RUN AWAY! (Hahahaha! If you've seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you will understand why "run away!" is funny.) All the mush can be found here.
4. If you read his entry, you will know why I am so pissed. Yes, we were inside a parked car with the engine on and it was night time so I can understand where the cops are coming from. I guess it helps that they saw us hugging so I can understand why they would think we were fooling around in the car. So fine, not pissed about that. What irritates the hell out of me is how the matter was handled. The whole thing could've been resolved easily if they just READ the frickin' driver's license that I OFFERED them. If they did that, they would have verified that I am a resident and that I really was parked outside my house. If they insist on verifying, they could've rang the bell and asked someone from the house to confirm that I live there. But no. I CALMLY explained the situation to him (that we were having a fight and that hug was us making up) and told him I understand why he'd think we were fooling around. However, I will insist that we weren't doing anything illegal and that it would ultimately be his word against mine. This prompted him to raise his voice at me and threaten to take us to the presinto and that he will insist daw that we were necking. I'm sorry but I find that very insulting. He was seriously standing there yelling at me and kept insinuating that I am cheap & stupid enough to have sex in a parked car infront of my house. I hate him. I hate the fact that they were TRYING to bully us and thinking we'd get scared and pay them off. I hate how they abuse their power. I hate how they can insult my character just like that. I hate that they can get away with this. They are cops, sworn to protect the public. And I hate that we don't trust any of them because they are just as bad (some even worse) than the criminals they go after.
The whole fiasco finally ended when he threatened to alert the presinto and report us. He screams at the other cop (I think he did this on purpose so that we'd get scared) and says "Oh, itawag mo na 'to." So, I look at him and I say "Fine, I'll make a call too." I take out my mobile phone and call the house. As I was talking to my sister, I made sure the stupid cop could hear what I was saying. I tell her "Hey, is mom or dad there? Can you please tell them to come out? I'm at the gate and some cops are giving us a hard time just for being parked outside our house." When he heard me say that, he was all apologetic and saying "It's ok na, ma'am. Wag niyo na lang po ulitin." To which I replied, "Well, you might as well stay and say good evening to my dad since he's going through all the trouble to come out of the house."
Sigh. I hate people who abuse power. Don't even get me started on corporate bosses who abuse their authority. Gaaaaah! :O
